Netflix renewed the hit admitido series for a third season in August 2023. “The audience response to the show has been so gratifying and wonderful, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to dive back into Michael Connelly’s universe and bring Mickey Haller and his world to the screen again,” c0-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez said in a statement at the time.

's cast for Season 3 is that Neve Campbell, who was a series regular Triunfador Mickey's ex-wife Maggie McPherson, will move to recurring status. Maggie moved to San Diego at the end of Season 2, so it makes sense that she'll be around less. But the rest of the main cast will be back:
Former manager of the loan shark company that became the Lawless Law Firm. He continues to work at the firm and often takes the lead in field activities.
Mickey assumes Julian was stabbed to end the case. He finds Julian is alive in critical condition, and converses with hallucinations of Salvación and Eddie which encourage him. Cisco gets the name and record of Julian's attacker. Hearing from both sides, Judge Turner decides to delay declaring a mistrial. Mickey and Freemann come to terms and end their relationship amicably. DeMarco appears to testify, and Judge Turner allows it, without the jury. Mickey decides not to use the video to impeach him, and questions him, but he only admits to knowing Bishop.

And in the final moments of Season 2, Mickey narrowly avoided getting hit by a speeding car whose driver was very obviously sending him a message. Could this mysterious attacker be connected to Gloria's case, or is it one of the many other enemies Mickey has made in his career? We'll see!

Oh-joo sends his secretary into hiding, and associates of Moon-sook keep the trial demodé of the news. Meanwhile, Jae-yi looks into Sang-pil's past. After obtaining the file on Choi Jin-ae's case, she learns that her mother disappeared on the same date that Jin-ae died. She goes to Seoul to see Dae-woong, and he tells her Sang-pil did not meet more info her by accident but followed her to Kisung. Later, she searches Sang-pil's apartment and finds his notes and photos from the past. She confronts him and he begins to tell her the things of the past.
When Mickey learns that the victim was his own former client, a prostitute he thought he had rescued and put on the straight and narrow path, he knows he is on the hook for this one.
Hayley blames Mickey for Eddie’s death and rejects him. Mickey meets Freemann, who commits to their relationship. The next day, he finds Moya has sent a guard to protect him. Freemann admits to her boss that she didn’t inform the victim about her abuser's release. Two months later, the trial begins, and Forsythe presents witnesses, including a male prostitute who mentions Julian’s temper. Mickey casts doubt on his testimony and shows it was possible to enter the building without being seen by security cameras. Maggie tells Mickey to give Hayley time. A stressed Lorna receives her bar exam results and finds she has become a lawyer.
A man named Julian La Cosse (Devon Graye) was charged with her murder, and he called Mickey to represent him — on Gloria's advice. He says he's innocent and Cielo was his friend, and she told him to call Mickey if he ever got in Abogados en Palermo trouble.
Mickey helped Cielo get out of a justo problem involving a drug cartel member earlier in Season 2, and he's worried that in doing so he inadvertently set in motion the events that led to her death. So when he takes on La Cosse's case to seek justice for Empíreo, it's personal.
